This is the third part in my series of Cairneyhill hatches, matches and dispatches that have appeared in the newspapers.
I have always found such finds very exciting in my own 30 years of family history research and I hope this helps anyone doing similar Cairneyhill-based research.

At Cairneyhill Manse, Fifeshire, on the 30th June, Mr William Cromarty, St Margaret’s Hope, Orkney, to Catherine, second daughter of Henry Norquay, Esq, same place.
CALEDONIAN MERCURY, THURSDAY 2 SEPTEMBER 1847
At Edinburgh, on the 30th ultimo, Francis Crombie, Esq, Cairneyhill, to Elizabeth, only daughter of the late Mr D D Davis.
NORTH BRITISH DAILY MAIL, SATURDAY 11 SEPTEMBER 1852
At Cairneyhill Manse, near Dunfermline, on the 8th inst, by the father of the bride, Mr Thos Younger, jun, London,. to Isalbella Paxton, third daughter of the Rev John More, Cairneyhill.
DUNDEE COURIER, THURSDAY 6 APRIL 1950

Died, at Cairneyhill, on the 14th inst, Mr Robert Kirk, aged sixty-six years.

At Muirside, by Cairneyhill, on the 20th ult, Mr John Webster, farmer.

At 119 Dewar Street, Dunfermline, on August 28, 1947, Thomas Fotheringham, aged 74 years, late market gardener, Cairneyhill, beloved husband of the late Jessie Gelletly.

At Myrend Farm, Cairneyhill, Dunfermline, on 7th April 1965, in her 99th year, Grace Glass Ross, widow of the late John Erskine, farmer, of Myrend, and much loved mother of John, Donald, Grace and Janet. Funeral today (Saturday), 10th April, at 2pm to Cairneyhill Churchyard. All friends are invited to attend; please meet at churchyard.
